With its twin domes and arched doors and windows, it also became an architectural jewel of the neighborhood. The congregation <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"moved to West Hartford (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/cbict.org\/heritage-and-history\/\" target=\"_blank\">moved to West Hartford<\/a> in 1935, but with the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Charter Oak Cultural Center (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/hartford.com\/charter-oak-cultural-center\/\" target=\"_blank\">Charter Oak Cultural Center<\/a> now operating there, the place remains as vibrant as ever, hosting everything from art exhibits and performances to free after-school programs for local kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there&#8217;s a problem. As fund raisers put it: &#8220;The Rose Window, or more accurately the installation of multiple  windows that form a visual centerpiece for our <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Bimah (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.myjewishlearning.com\/article\/bimah\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bimah<\/a>, is in serious  disrepair. Nearly a century-and-a-half of harsh weather conditions have  led to a potentially irreversible degradation of the stained glass, the  frame, and the Bimah&#8217;s structural integrity. In short: it is in danger  of collapse!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"A GoFundMe page (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/help-save-charter-oak039s-historic-rose-window\" target=\"_blank\">A GoFundMe page<\/a> has been set up for those interested in helping to restore the windows.
